About the Project
The "Africa" Digital Encyclopedia
The "Africa" Digital Encyclopedia is being developed as a unified electronic resource where residents of Russia and CIS countries can access comprehensive information about the African continent.

This project aims to meet the growing demand for reliable information about Africa, benefiting millions of people. It will foster stronger ties between nations and promote the development of Russian-African cooperation.
The encyclopedia will present
information about African countries in a format designed to appeal to entrepreneurs, investors, experts, journalists, tourists, students, and anyone with an interest in Africa.

Our articles will be written by professional authors, with contributions from leading experts in relevant academic and educational institutions, media companies, and organizations.
Articles on the economy and business will be authored by entrepreneurs actively working with African partners.

The digital encyclopedia will cover topics such as the history, geography, climate, natural resources, economy, political systems, science and education, culture, and sports of African countries.

Each country section will also feature a message from the nation's leader and a page dedicated to its diplomatic mission in Russia.
The project will be overseen by Konstantin Petrovich Klimenko-Bogdanov, Rector of the Eurasian International University and Chairman of the Coordinating Council of the International Network "House of Africa."

The encyclopedia’s creation will involve editors and specialists from the Eurasian International University, staff from the "House of Africa" in Moscow, researchers from the Institute of Africa at the Russian Academy of Sciences, journalists from international media, students and postgraduates from the Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, and embassy representatives from African nations based in Moscow.
